Delete your account

Artists can delete their page and account themselves. Log in, open Settings in your portal and use “Delete my page and account”. It deletes your page, everything on it and your login right away. Want a copy first? “Download my data” is on the same page.

Can't log in, or never made a login? Email privacy@truerecs.com from the address you used and we'll delete it for you.

Fans: every email we send has a link to stop it, and the page it opens has a “Delete my email” button.

What we keep from Instagram and TikTok

When an artist connects Instagram or TikTok, we read the account ID, username and follower count once, to prove the account is theirs and show the count on their page. We don't keep the login token and never post for you. The full details are in our privacy policy.

How to delete your Instagram or TikTok details

• In truerecs: log in, go to Connections and press Disconnect. We delete the stored details right away.
• From Instagram: remove truerecs under Settings, Apps and websites. Instagram tells us and we delete your Instagram details automatically. If you also send a deletion request there, you get a confirmation code that you can check on this page.
• From TikTok: remove truerecs from the apps connected to your TikTok account, then disconnect in truerecs or email us.
• No login, or a Meta or Instagram data request: email privacy@truerecs.com.
