What DAW does Marshmello use?

Marshmello uses Ableton Live. He told GQ in 2018 that he started on GarageBand and went straight to Ableton rather than Logic, and his 2024 Just Can't Stop breakdown is an Ableton session that uses Ableton's Operator synth.

What plugins does Marshmello use?

In his Just Can't Stop breakdown he uses Serum, Omnisphere, Slate Digital Fresh Air, Baby Audio Crystalline, Humanoid and Transit 2, ValhallaRoom and ValhallaVintageVerb, MeldaProduction MWaveShaper and MPolySaturator, Kilohearts Snap Heap and oeksound soothe. He says none of the makers pay him.

What synths does Marshmello have in his studio?

In the Just Can't Stop breakdown he says a UDO Audio Super 6 sits right next to him and may be the analog layer on that track. His official How To Play Proud video shows him on a Roland JUNO-DS61.

What does Marshmello play guitar through?

On Daniel Wall's podcast in 2025 he showed the guitar he uses for everything and said he plays it through Native Instruments Guitar Rig. He also said he put Cableguys HalfTime on a chord part during the Come & Go era.
