Oteil Burbridge has said his newest bass is a Sandberg California 6-string. On stage with Dead & Company he has played a Modulus Ankh bass, and he owns a signature Modulus Quantum 6 and two Fodera signature six-strings. His Fenders include a 1963 Precision with flatwounds, a 1964 Jazz and a Road Worn '58 P he played with the Allman Brothers.
