Mike Kerr has said he played his Fender Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass, with an EHX POG2, Boss Harmonist and Tech 21 Red Ripper, and has been seen using Fender Super-Sonic and Bassman amps. Ben Thatcher has said he played a Gretsch USA Custom kit with Zildjian cymbals, Morgan Davies snares and a Roland SPD-SX.

He told MusicRadar in 2023 that his Fender Mike Kerr Jaguar Bass is all he played in the studio and about 70% of the live show. He started on a Gretsch Electromatic and has also played Gretsch Junior Jets and Fender Starcaster basses.
In a 2021 interview he named the Electro-Harmonix POG2, a Boss Harmonist for divebombs, a ZVEX Mastotron on Loose Change and a Tech 21 Red Ripper bass distortion.
Guitar World reported his amps on Typhoons were mainly Fender Super-Sonics and Bassmans, plus a cheap eBay amp he would not name.
