What DAW does Seven Lions use?
FL Studio. He confirmed it in his 2022 Reddit AMA, and in 2017 said he had tried Pro Tools, Sonar and Digital Performer but that FL is where his heart is. Image-Line filmed him walking through A Way to Say Goodbye in FL Studio in 2015.
What synths does Seven Lions use?
In 2022 he called Sylenth1 his baby and said he uses Dune, Serum and Spire a lot, with Omnisphere too. For Cold As Snow (2025) the break lead was a 7skies Serum preset called 7 Seconds, and he named Omnisphere and Kontakt.
What studio monitors does Seven Lions use?
Asked about his speakers in a 2014 Reddit AMA, he answered Dynaudio BM5A mkII and said he loves them.
What does Seven Lions DJ with?
In 2013 he told Dubspot he ran Traktor on a MacBook Air with a Native Instruments X1, going into a Pioneer DJM-900 used as the soundcard. In 2017 he said he still used Traktor but was thinking of switching to CDJs.
