About Tash Sultana's gear.

What looper does Tash Sultana use?

A BOSS RC-30 Loop Station. They told Premier Guitar they had tried other loopers but did not get the same feel, and that guitars, drum samples and other instruments run into the RC-30 and then to the PA, with vocals on a separate board.

What guitar does Tash Sultana play?

The viral Jungle video was played on a Fender Jazzmaster. They tour with Strats and Telecasters and a Maton SRS70C/12 12-string, and Fender released a Tash Sultana Signature Stratocaster in 2020, which they first recorded with on Greed.

Does Tash Sultana use an amp live?

No. They told Premier Guitar they do not use an amp live and run straight to the PA. In the studio they use a quad-amp setup, with a Vox, an Orange head and cab and a Fender Deluxe Reverb, fed by a Palmer Triage amp selector.

What pedals are on Tash Sultana's pedalboard?

Mixdown spotted three BOSS GE-7 EQs, a DD-7, TE-2, AW-3, TR-2, ST-2 and TU-2, plus a Dunlop Cry Baby Mini, an EHX Soul Food and a TC Electronic Hall of Fame. They told Premier Guitar the board has 39 pedals.

What song made Tash Sultana switch to Strats?

Premier Guitar's Hooked feature on Tash Sultana is about John Mayer's Slow Dancing in a Burning Room from Continuum, the song it says sparked their switch from Teles to Strats.
