“Then I had Logic, and a really wicked old program called AudioMulch.”
“The dissing that the Voyager gets is ridiculous as it's amazing; it's like a perfectly updated Moog.”
“You don't ever want a bald synth sound. Moogerfoogers sort that right out.”
“It's noisy, messy, dark, evil, hissy. Amazing.”
“This is really lovely. The compression is very subtle but it gives mixes this finesse”
“A really wonderful bit of gear. The pots feel like they mean business.”
“These are pretty nice and I'm really used to them now but I prefer my Sennheiser IE80s.”
“Generally, I find I mix most tenaciously on headphones”
“I've got a Thermionic Culture Vulture and if you whack one of the u-he synths through that it's amazingly warm.”
“I'm really into the u-he soft synths, which are amazing.”
“I've got an Oberheim OB-X that's broken so that could possibly get fixed and used at some point.”
Stage
“They're just really simple to use live and they're pretty amazing controllers that integrate well with Ableton.”
“I just love that machine.”
Body Riddle era
“Arp Odyssey, but that was on the more jungle stuff on the EP surrounding it.”
“The Waldorf Pulse synth, layered. Fake analogue! Can't beat it.”
“This track also used James from Broadcast's Korg MS-20.”
“Then a Sherman Filterbank.”
“I also had [the band] Broadcast's drum kit, which was a really nice Ludwig with an old '70s snare”
“And you could add the Atari ST in, because that was around [debut album] Clarence Park”
