About this guide · Last checked
Kavinsky was Vincent Belorgey, the Paris producer behind Nightcall, OutRun and Reborn, who died in July 2026. He rarely talked about equipment, so this guide is short: the synth and software he named in interviews, plus two records he said meant a lot to him.
truerecs put this guide together from public videos, interviews and posts. Each item says how we know and links to the source. Kavinsky didn't write it or choose anything on it. How we source gear guides.
