In a 2011 MusicRadar tour of his Stockholm studio, Avicii said he works completely from within FL Studio. He named KRK VXT8 and Genelec 8040 monitors, a UA LA-610 channel strip and an RME Fireface UC.

In a 2011 MusicRadar studio tour Avicii gave his top reasons for reaching for FL Studio: a straightforward mixer, automation on nearly everything and a built-in step sequencer.
What monitors did Avicii use?
MusicRadar's 2011 studio tour shows a pair of KRK VXT8s and a pair of Genelec 8040s. He said the KRKs were his favourites and his manager preferred the Genelecs, so he got both to A/B on.
What studio hardware did Avicii have?
